In a world of challenges, it's perfectly normal for a man to seek peace in his relationship with God. This message can also apply to women, but men often don't have an outlet to express themselves.
Turning to God can provide support on many levels. We're writing this blog to share that we don't have to resort to harmful solutions when facing life's troubles. Sometimes, we might go astray because temporary relief is tempting, but indulging in these temptations often leads to adverse outcomes. Every man deals with some form of challenge. My methods and ways of coping with struggles are not the only way, but they work for me. By sharing them, someone might find alternative ways to solve their problems.
One remedy that helps me is finding a quiet park to walk in. The tranquility of birds chirping and the beauty of nature—whether it's flowers or other elements—can be therapeutic. Walking not only improves our health but also gives us time to reflect. If we channel our thoughts through prayer while walking, it can be a powerful experience. Prayer doesn't have to follow any particular words; it's a conversation between you and the Creator.
Healthy conversations with ourselves can sometimes provide feedback because we're using the universe's vibrations to tap into the God within us all. However, our actions must be clean to tap into this natural essence truly. This means avoiding anything that toxifies the body, such as alcohol abuse, drugs, or promiscuous behavior. These things interrupt our proper connection with the Creator, as they are not conducive to maintaining our divine essence.
Being on "Team God" often reminds us that it's okay to pause when we're not following the game plan that God has laid out for us. Whatever aspirations we have, we can achieve them and experience abundance just like anyone else. We believe that God is a just God. The same sun that shines on every element to give it life shines on us as well. It's what we do with the sun's energy that helps us prosper in life.
Sometimes, we need to separate ourselves from things that are weighing us down. As responsible men, it's not selfish to take time out to manage our mindset and reduce our stress levels. Stress is a dangerous, silent killer that affects many men because they lack avenues to deal with life's challenges. By pausing and seeking peace, whether through prayer, nature, or quiet reflection, we can better manage our stress and align ourselves with God's plan for us, showing that our well-being is important and valued.
There are three things I strive to keep in my repertoire when it comes to being part of "Team God":
Strive to be as Godly as possible. Our lives and sacrifices should always be for God. This helps us maintain checks and balances in our actions and decisions.
Exercise: Physical activity helps release endorphins, keeping us strong to face the world's physical challenges.
Prayer: Tapping into our spirituality through prayer helps us cope when life feels overwhelming.
These practices help me, and I pray that I can help someone reading this by sharing them. Overcoming life's challenges is like passing a baton in a race. Once we've reached a certain level, we can pass that baton to someone who may need it to finish their race so we can all be winners in the triathlon of this world. We should always seek the Kingdom of God when dealing with life's circumstances. I pray this helps someone, and I look forward to the next level when God pushes me to improve my life. We want the best for my brothers, who need a kind word.
